It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce that Az Sergeyevich aka Zyzz has passed away due to heart attack while holidaying in Thailand. Much else is not known at this time.

Zyzz had inspired a lot of lifters to pick up the weights and shed not only their kilos but their social inhibitions. The summer got a little colder and less aesthetic this year.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Said aka Chestbrah and the rest of his family as they go through this incredibly hard time.

Back in 2006, Zyzz made his first on Bodybuilding.com which detailed his problems as an ectomorph. It’s an extremely poignant thing to go back and reflect on this. We’ve all been beginners, eager to find out more about bodybuilding. Maybe it’s time we look to around the gym and give a hand to people who really do need the help.
